Grand Marais Minnesota is one of the most visually stunning places in the world. A small town on the north shore of Lake Superior, this place holds a special place in many people's hearts, including my own. The charm of the town and its people are only exceeded by the staggering beauty of the nature surrounding it.
I visited many times over the years but on this occasion I had brought a film camera with me and a couple of rolls of colour film. I was rewarded with perfect weather and as you can see the photos turned out pretty nicely indeed. All twelve photos in this calendar are film photos that were scanned on a high resolution scanner.
